Following a number of commercial sales and customer service roles for the National Westminster Bank Group, Robin moved into training and development full time in 1993 initially as a management skills tutor and subsequently as a training and development manager in the City of London for the Bank’s Head Office.

In 1997 he joined a sales management consultancy where he was involved in the design, development and delivery of a wide range of sales, sales management and people development programmes to international audiences in the UK, North and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Far East.

Robin formed Xperion Training & Consultancy in 2003. Xperion specialise in all aspects of performance improvement, particularly in sales, customer service and related business skills.

Chris Gardener ICAEW

Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant who spent over 10 years in senior roles including head of finance and commercial management positions, within a global distributor of electrical, mechanical and industrial products. He has also supported a number of companies in developing business plans and obtaining funding from investors and lenders to support business expansion and improvement in their financial performance.

Since moving into training and development, he has worked with senior and middle managers across Europe as a commercial coach and trainer, also helping companies with their business development across different markets and cultures.

Chris is the Xperion team’s expert in all aspects of finance as well as being involved in commercial, management and other related business skills workshops.

Mark Simpson - B.Sc. (Hons)

Following a degree in Biomedical Science, Mark started his career with roles as a medical representative, before being appointed to the position of Senior Healthcare Specialist at Baker Norton. He subsequently joined Pfizer in 1997 as a full time District Field Trainer where his duties included managing the team’s training activities and one to one specialist coaching.

Mark moved into training and consultancy full time in 1999, working across various industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, FMCG and electricals.

Specialising in customer service and sales training, he is also a licensed Insights Discovery™ practitioner.
